Any reliable proof to boost your conclusions?

This new kit has got a lot of appraisals as well as Flak, before and after release. I for myself, would I be interested in this one, would hopefully be happy with a new modern kit. Knowing there never ever will be a perfect kit of anything I try not to get too serious in such rivet counting. It kills the fun and gets you nowhere.

The landing gear here is the main issue for me. Think Eduard's Yak 3 for starters. Gear too long and needs shortening. Also, the angle of Eduard's G-6 is off. It looks real goofy and it takes some cutting and filing of the gear legs and gear doors to make it look right. It does have first rate detail for sure, but all my Hasegawa kits in the stash aren't going anywhere!

Not that I'm defending Eduard but I'm kinda shocked that they would screw up a kit that much. And then to attack people on Facebook. Gonna have to look and see what they said.

Just build it and it will look good.

Hey Jim. You're over on ARC right? Go into the "Jets" section and find the threads about any of the Great Wall Hobby or Kitty Hawk kits. They absolutely rip them apart cause they're such bad kits in accuracy and how bad they build. As newer companies you would think they'd make an accurate kit that builds right.

But, Great Wall Hobby listens to their customers and fixes mistakes.
