Testors Acrylic Enamel 4247 Question..

Earlier this week, I picked up a bottle of Testors Acrylic Enamel 4247 - #2 Green 172.

Which green is it? I know this is an older stock number but I cannot find any info on it. To me , it looks to be a very close match to Testors 1793 - SAC Bomber Green (FS34159).

Am I right?

The bottle of paint is still in great condition. No gobs of sediments on the bottom, nor thick and dried out.

The name sounds like one of their old line of Naval Acrylics. They had some colors with titles like that.

It's off eBay. Just google Testors marine acrylics and look for the chart on images. Unfortunately the software on our site here blows up all images to a particular size, small or large.

Looking at the chart the Green 2 is a USN WWII color. Probably one of those used on PT boats and landing craft in the PTO to blend in with jungle shorelines.
