Venezuelan F-16 colors - a challenge for Rex

Hey Rex, I've got a challenge for you and hopefully you can point me in the right direction. I'm trying to piece together the colors for the Venezuelan F-16 as shown here:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... ting-6.jpg
I have the decal set but the FS numbers are hard to find a close match.
The decal set does list the FS numbers as follows:
Dark Green FS 31092 - a decal set review site somewhere says the modeler used FS 34092 for Dark Green. Your thoughts?
Pale Green FS 34375 - I can use Model Master's Pale Green #4739 (FS 34227) since it's very similar in shade.
Sand FS 36642 - There are so many variations of Sand, I find it hard to choose which Sand is the closest match.
Light Grey FS 37875 - I know this FS number is the color Insignia White - not Light Grey. The closest match I can/could use is Bombshell Brew FS 36628 White Gray due the hint of grey in the photo.
So which Dark Green and Sand would you choose?

There is something wrong with the link in your post.
But, I can work from your numbers. First, the Very Light Gray. Many don't realize this, but, they often say "37875 White", and then use an actual White on their USN models. The White that the aircraft were actually painted in was 17925 Insignia White, because of a glitch in the paint procurement process. So, if you want a very light Gray color, you could go ahead and use 37875 as it. (if the model paint is actually that off White color)
(using chip book 17875 for the decals was what caused that whole "Hasegawa decals have the wrong color on their Insignia" deal that persisted for years and years, real 1/1 decals had a "True White", which is the reason that a chip for 17925 was added to the FS booklets)
or Bombshell's "extremely Light Gray" would also work
As for the Green and the Sand,,,,,,,I'd need to see the pic first.
Keep in mind that all of my color matching is aimed at getting the FS colors matched to paints, "Which service carried which scheme when" is a whole different can of worms.
In other words, I can tell you where to buy acrylic 34092, but deciding if 34092 is the color you need is up to a smarter "expert" than this old guy, lol.

For the green, use 34092. There is no 31092, that has to be a misprint. All greens are 4 series numbers (second digit) in the FS system. The first digit is 1 for gloss, 2 for semi gloss, and 3 for flats. The second digit is the color family 0 for browns, 1 and 2 series I don't recall off the top of my head, 3 for yellows, 4 is greens, 5 is blues, 6 is grays, 7 is leftovers such as black, white, aluminum... the last three digits identify the particular shade.

Just so that Stik's post is completed,,,,1 is Reds, 2 is Oranges, and 8 is Fluorescents.

Oh, and this has been working in my mind.
I think I remember back in the "International Color and Camouflage" days in Fine Scale Modeler, that this was covered in one of the articles.
Someone with an indexed set of the Mag, or with the CD,,,,,could look that up for you.
If I am remembering right, that series was done with the FS 595B fandeck, so it would be just what you need.

Stik
It had been bugging the crap out of me since I bought the decal set and looking at the color call out marked on the cover sheet below:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aztec-Decals ... 1400968095
Try this Rex:
As you can see it looks very much like it's a faint light grey shade than white.

Wow, that sure looks like an SEA Falcon with the colors just slightly changed.
How about this?
34092 for that dark green. (34079 would be too dark) (Bombshell's would work)
34102 for the lighter green. (same as SEA) (Bombshell, again)
36622 for the underside. (same as SEA) (NOT Bombshell, it is too dark, But LifeColor UA 021 is good, as is Badger #16-422 Windjammer White, Model Master #4766 is close, but, just a tad darker, since it is a match for 36595)
and Bombshell's 33531 Sand for the tan parts. (this was an attempt that missed 33531, but, sure looks like it would work for this aircraft)
did you notice that patch of 30219 on the tail, where the decal is torn?
