Are they anything worth getting? I want a good T--28. I never seem to see any of their stuff being built.

I haven't heard much on them to be honest.

I have several in the stash but have not built any yet. They do look good in the box. But I can not comment on fit, ease of assembly etc. Regarding a T-28, in 1/48 there are pretty much two games in town: the old Monogram kit that is about as old as I am, and the far more recent Roden kit. I strongly suggest the Roden kit if you want things like an engine, wheel wells, cockpit, etc. Not that the Monogram kit is bad, it is just way old with detail and features typical of a 60's vintage kit.

have not build the T-28 from Roden, but several biplnes and Mohawk, so there are some commen point

-good details and lot of variant parts for different versions
-the plastic is crispy on most of the models
-most kits have problems with the fuselage ( to much C of the fuselage )
-the decals are often hard, to hard for softer and brittle

over all good kits with a little bit more of work for models you can nit get from other companys

I thought I had a Monogram T-28 in my stash. Much of which is lying on the floor in a jumble. No more shelf space. I found it and boy, howdy, is it old. Molding is from 1958 (according to the notations on the inside of the fuselage) and the kit seems to be the 1965 release (from the instruction copyright) re-released in 1975. Wowsie, it is only six years younger than me!

I'm a little late to the party here, but I've only built one Roden kit myself. It was the 1/72 scale An-12 Cub:



What I remember about this one was the seams between the fuselage and the wings as well as the difficult fit of the canopy. The interior detail is amazing, and the rest of the plane looks good. I was surprised that this one in particular had a four-piece fuselage. The landing gear was a bit fiddly, and the decals; as mentioned tended to break up and shatter quite frequently is you looked at them wrong. Use copious amounts of liquid decal film; that will help eliminate that problem.

Aside from that; I've built at least a half dozen Roden armor kits in 1/72 scale (mostly buses), but that doesn't apply here.
