I'm a serious guy, that uses the colors straight out of the bottle.

But, I never trust the labels and always run them up to vintage 595A for my own matches first.

I never bought a bottle of paint just because I liked how it looked on my screen. Really, are there people who do this?

I have sunlight simulating lamps on the modelling desks to have a kind of calibrated lighting. Best when doing an airbrush job. But I never bought a colour after seeing a paint chart on the Net. My old Monogram Painting Guide still rules!

I don't know how serious I am... but I use straight from the bottle most of the time. And I have been around enough hardware for the past 30+ years to know that equipment changes color over time. Not to mention that most of the weathering that I do nowadays certainly alters any base colors.

Serious? Nope, not me. A stickler maybe... to myself.

As long as it's cold, skillfully crafted with a nice hoppy touch and a bright white head.
Or will I go with a nice Single Malt instead?

Pilsener always straight out of the bottle. Hefeweizen needs a glass.

You can vary the yellow tones by thinning them with lemonade (Radler)
