1/48 Bags and Equipment

I was wondering if anyone knows of someplace that might have 1/48 scale bags and equipment that I could use in an upcoming build of the Skunkworks HH-60J. I want to detail it out with some medical kits and other equipment that you might find on a real Coastie helo. I have been doing some searching but havent located anything yet.

I scratched some and converted some others, from a 1/35 figure set.

Everything, with the exception of the basket and a couple bags was scratchbuilt...
(Same kit BTW)

There ya go... I was thinking scratch them, but converting stuff like 1/35 sleeping mats and butt packs will work just fine for 48th scale medical kit and duffle bags... Fermis, you are da man!

Wow Fermis!! That is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I really like the detail you put into it. What are your thoughts on the kit? From what I see in the box its going to be a pretty nice build. Thanks for sharing your shots!

JimD, thanks for the link, I think I could make some of those work. I've also been thinking about getting some sculpting putty and making some "jump packs" similar to what I used to use on the fire trucks, I've seen similar kits on some of the rescue helos around here.

Thank you...and...you're welcome!

Overall, the kit wasn't terrible, some minor fit issues, and the glaring lack of detail for the interior.
Wish I had access to the WIP, to link to, but it got lost when the last forum got smacked down. Just have the pics in the P/B gallery that I linked in my first post.

Not sure if that forum is still set to private.

HOLY :scream: Fermis!!!! I will say now, I seriously doubt mine is going to come out as awesome as yours! I have just started working with scratchbuilding and I am nowhere as skilled as you are. You definitely have given me some inspiration!!
