Sounds like the modeling gods were not pleased... That is dedication though to work by candlelight. Although I will wager that a better light source may reveal something missed. Not to worry though, in my limited experience, oils are quite forgiving and can be cleaned up days later...

whew, careful sludging by candle light, depending on what you're sludging with could be a fire risk.

I had that thought - Paint/Thinner fumes + Naked Flame do not make good bed fellows!

Wow. I think this is from the same storm that is clobbering us and extending all the way up into Maine. It is a monster. Our weather weenies keep whinning this morning that "it won't quit". We have about 16" of snow this morning and it is still snowing. Should quit sometime in August. Got the lawn tractor/snowblade out and managed to push enough off the driveeway so the little critters to go potty. I hate snow.
