Most people, IMO, who give it a good review are either not knowledgeable enough about the subject matter to know if it is accurate or not, or don't care and think every model produced by ANYONE is a favor to the modeling community so they dare not upset the manufacturers...I actually like a lot of what Eduard puts out and think their 110, 190, 109E versions, MiG-15, etc. kits are top notch, as is most of their AM stuff. But they really shot themselves in both feet on this 109...

I'm hoping Aires, or some other AM company, provides Eduard with a "corrected" set of struts for this kit...

I will bet you that SAC will make a white metal version. And it wil be and exact copy of the original only in soft white metal. Anyway, to bad Eduard has dropped the ball on this one. Let's hope it is a one time thing

Other than perhaps a Spartan cockpit, I never thought anything was wrong with the Hasegawa example. I have several Gustavsson in the stash...

Well, the Hasegawa also has an accuracy issue: "The most discussed accuracy issue, however, was around 2 millimetres (four scale inches) missing from the fuselage between the front of the windscreen and the rear of the engine cowling."
