Well, let's see; I have three different American Air Force birds, one German, one British, one Iranian, one Japanese, one (maybe two) Israeli, so far. These don't include a couple recon birds I have yet to build; one US one German. I suppose I could add a few more Phantoms to the mix; I believe the Egyptians flew them too and I could complete the recon set for all nations that flew them. Then I can start on some Navy birds too.

I would just need to source some more decals for my 1/72 scale Phantoms to complete these...

why no greek or turkish photo phantoms? so much F-4 and not enough space

Well, partly because I only build aircraft from specific nations that fit in my collection. Unfortunately, Greece and Turkey don't quite fit at this time.

I did not see you mention any USN/USMC Phantoms...
Seriously, if you just made one for each paint scheme worn (not counting one offs or commemorative types), I'd say that you're looking at a dozen or more in US service alone. Not counting experimental stuff like the Navy jungle camo of early Vietnam...

Actually I did mention Navy birds at the end. I would be interested in seeing the experimental Navy camo as I never heard they did that. Eventually I should be able to get to Navy and Marine birds, but right now I have a ton of other models in the queue that I need to get finished first.

The latest from Zoukei Mura on their 1/48 F 4's. The J version you know about. In January they plan to release a F 4S and others later. Here's a copy from "Th Old Man;s Blog" on their web site.

It's up to you to keep us running until we complete the whole series of F-4 Phantom, from the J-type to the S, C, D, J (Marine ver.) types, then to each E, F, G and EJ long-nose types, to eventually finish with the Spey engine mounted types.

I have the J on pre order and have built 2 of their birds-both1/32 The P 51K and the Horton Ho 229. Fit is excellent. A lot of people criticize them for all the hidden detail. I like it because I enjoy building and my wife doesn't like to see me building expensive kits in less than a month. I built Tamiya's 1/32 P 51K and the detail on the ZM kit is beyond what was in the Tamiya kit. If interested in any of their kits you can go to their web site and download the construction manuals.

I think it will be nice to add a ZM rhino to the collection, maye for a maintenance scene with engine on display.
I also have the Horten in quarterscale and looking forward to the build.
