White stripes on wings are on!





Not worried about the paint seepage from the masking tape. They're going to painted black between the white stripes.

Invasion stripes on wings done.





Only a couple minor bleed/over brushed spots to touch up with white and bare metal silver.

Next the fuselage invasion stripes.

Coming along well Tom! The ID stripes (not invasion stripes) look good!

Template for fuselage ID stripes so far. Gonna resume after a walk at the mall.



I measured (twice, three times, and a final fourth) of the total width of the stripes on decal sheet. Next, I will lay down the mask to cover the black before handpainting the white just as I did with with wings ID stripes.

Black ID stripes are on. Now to let this dry overnight and I'll go back and touch up bleeds/overbrush in a day or so.

Touch painting hasn't been done yet but will soon. Got the olive drab on cowling and the blue around nose and alo.g cowling and around canopy. Nose minus prop blades done too.

It came out better than I expected and matched the design close to the decals.

All looking really good Tom - I bet that was fun to mask!
