We all know how much he loves the ole B-24.... here is his attempted fix:

This stuff was all posted at swanny's years ago by the man... the legend himself. I saved some of the pictures. Still not sure if just trolling or what.

Good to see there is evidence of him actually building a model. A very ambitious correction but you can pull that off if you have the right skills.

Back on the topic of the G-6, I am interested in what Eduard is going to do, make a pair of corrected wings? I also find it interesting that they inspect musuem 109's but not measure those... I can not really follow the rational of the way of working. But then again, I am not in the model kit industry.

From what I understand it was a mathematical error converting from CAD to the machine that made the molds.

So: fix the error and start to CNC mill a new mold from a chunk of steel.

But that is easier said then done. Because how will the correction of the wing effect the fit of that part with th rest of the kit.

From what I've read, it's not just the wing. Isn't the fuselage to short (or is it long)?

Here guys read this(the editorial part): http://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/I ... 4-06EN.pdf

It pretty much addresses the questions you're asking but it doesn't say what they are gonna do about it if anything really.

Btw... I just ordered one today... :P

Yeah I REALLY don't get that. I don't care though... I'll just build the 1/47.26 model and be done!
