Because of a change in my "singing status", I find myself having to learn or at least refamiliarize myself with a large number of old Country songs. Not wanting to divide my time between modeling time and listening time,,,,,,,,I combine the two. I've found that I can learn a song and model at the same time. Then when it comes time to "get the song just right", I go over and work on that.and let the modeling part sit for a short while. I've found that it is easier to pick up the song after listening to it in a more passive mode. When I find myself singing along all the way through the song, that is when I put down the hobby knife and grab the microphone for a bit.

Geez, as for being a dinosaur, I listen and sing Country & Western to old vinyl LPs. We even have an old Steel Guitar player in our band.

But, for a guy named Rex, being a Dino is not that far a stretch, I guess.

I also drink Beer during both activities, sometimes Coffee. (I know what fish do in water, so I avoid that liquid, lol)

Hahaha. Funny man.

Don't forget, I know what McD's you eat at.

My singin' is one of the things that "hooked her". I just didn't do it in public back then.

Actually, I rarely eat at McDs. My son likes Burger King and I prefer to cook my own on the grill.

Lets see now, we got Fermis on guitar, Rex on vocals... Now we need a Bass and Drums and we're in business....

Modeling is strictly relaxation for me,but I prefer silence or quiet sports talk radio or a ballgame to any kind of music. As for drinking, well I only drink socially when I'm out or have people over,so no not during model building.

Does it count when I played drums for some months only when I was 15? Had to give it up, unfortunately. :P
