Indeed Bruce - no matter what you may think about the Environment, the strip mining they're doing for these metals is devastating - and as I said, you;ve still got to generate the power to charge them, which makes the whole thing completely pointless. Sure the tech is there; in some cases the original electric tech might be better even but the batteries are the serious environmental threat.
