Yes, and as a brush painter, I think you have a good understanding of the physical properties of the paint, which is important. One of the big adjustments you might have to make is the optimal paint/thinner ratio used when airbrushing. Whatever your airbrushing style is, the mix will be much thinner than what you are used to. Coverage is not as important since uniform coverage with an airbrush can be accomplished with multiple layers without sacrificing any smoothness of finish. I like to use this to my advantage and I favor highly thinned mixtures to (a) achieve a smooth finish and (b) have more control dialing in any pre-shade effects.

That style of booth is what many have. Looks almost like mine.

The 2nd compressor you listed will work fine. Very similar to mine and what a lot of folks use. The case is superfluous, though.

There are some without the cases on amazon that are a bit cheaper, with the water trap and pressure adjustment. How loud is yours Lyle?

Mine came with the pressure valve and the water trap, I think. Maybe. Who knows? Over her, in the colonies, those are easy and cheap to get, though.

It is a bit loud, not deafening. It sits on a side bench about a meter-ish from me at the same level, so I am sure that contributes to the noise.

The booth you linked is exactly like mine. Does what it should. The compressor looks to be a good one
