1/48 Tamiya Skyray

Any subject, any scale, as long as it's a Tamiya kit.

This is most definitely a Tamiya kit. You can tell it's their plastic.

Great work so far. You're handling those issues well. Point of interest: I built the 1/72 scale version of this same plane from Tamiya. (it was my first ever Tamiya kit built!) I had the very same issues on their 1/72 scale kit as you're having here.

Probably the same kit scaled up or down.

Tamiya has boxed quite a few Italeri kits for the Asian market. But the Skyray is there own kit

Looks like you're having some fun with this one Mike, but I'm sure you'll get it together nicely.

Started on the cockpit for the Skyray. I have to use the decal for the instrument panel because there's no detail there.

Off to a good start on the pit.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
