I'd probably go with him and build the Tamiya and live with the lower level of detail.

Well I thought I'd go for something different...

I'm thinking about it, I have two Spit's in my much reduced stash - both Airfix. A halfway decent mk,XII and a old tooling of a mk.V/Seafire mk.II. But the kit is a pretty bad mish-mash of parts and I'm not sure I have to mojo to tackle it... yet. :hmm:
