I agree with the others—family first. Personally, I think I am going to use any acrylic formulated paint/primer as a secondary color choice, especially based on what I see with my own work. I like harder, stronger finishes that solvent based paints create. I have a Shapeways 1/48 pilot figure I will prep for solvent paints... probably use Simple Green, a wet water wash and let it dry 24 hours.

There are several types of paint that you can use to paint our White, Versatile Plastic

• acrylic paint, water based
  acrylic paint, solvent based
  cellulose spray paint, solvent based
  nail varnish, acetate solvent based or acrylic
  oil paint

I really like Gunze Mr Color (acrylic pigment / solvent base) but you know more than me. I just know that Mr Color works well, has beautiful adhesion and tonality.
