I agree that there is quite a difference between the Xtracolor and the Revell paint tone. My mix looks similar to the Xtracolor shade:

Thank you Thomas. The Tamiya Cromwell kit is one of their best. It is a real treat to build.

That mix looks like it will do nicely! And with the widely available Tamiya colors. The Xtracolor paints are hard to obtain nowadays unfortunately...
