I can go either way, really. I hardly ever imbibe anymore, mostly because too much and my meds will put me in a coma. Plus I got most all of that out of my system as a young soldier.
As for music, it depends on how long I plan to be working. If I can get a good amount of time dedicated to the bench, then the metal goes on.
Nothing gets me pumped as some Iron Maiden or old Sabbath!

Check out some Sabaton!
There's a few "playlists" on youtube. There is definitely some Maiden/Sabbath inspiration in their music...and the lyrics...PERFECT for the military modeler...all about wars/battles/hero's/etc.
