Interesting Mike. What brand are those paint markers? I am trying to find a paint marker that is close to insignia red.
Seems like it may be very useful for the red border of USN jet landing gear door edges... The AK red is too light for my taste...

They're a brand called Tooli-Art and you can get them on Amazon.

Made a trip to get my new glasses today and thought I stop by the Goodwill and see what they have. Glad I did. I scored these movies and DVD sets, most still sealed, and a couple of kits, both complete. I just can't leave a model kit behind in these stores when I find them. I already have 3 other Kittyhawks in the stash. Once Academy, a Revell and a Kitech. Now I have two Academy kits. Oh well, more planes for the deck I guess.
