Gary, this is good news, indeed! On all fronts. I am almost, about, to maybe, somehow get the urge back. But first I have to mail out some kits.

Thanks Lyle! Yeppers, it does feel good. I cobbled together the tool stand, got some sanding sealer on it and then went to work clearing off that table with a vengeance. The new Harbor Freight workbench has four wide drawers and boy has that come in handy. I finally have places to store stuff that had been living on the work table for years. Now, I just hope I can remember where I put the stuff.

That HF bench is really nice; too nice to work on really. I'd cringe if I got any enamel on that thing now. If anyone's in need of a great looking, sturdy (heavy!) workbench, I heartily recommend it. With a 20% off coupon, it came to $130. It took a short while to assemble and makes a very nice piece of furniture.

Well, well, I see it's even cheaper now! I should've waited I guess-$120 now! Now, that's a deal!!

Throughout my years in construction, I've worked with 4 guys(at different times/jobs) that wore cut-offs that had the pockets hanging out the bottom. Get this....all 4 were named Gary!!!

OMG, you've seen me?!?! Hell yes, the pockets hang down, real Daisy Dukes, or as my son used to tease, "butt-cutters". Old habits die hard for old hippies. Fortunately, I've got great legs for an old guy. Dayum, I didn't know it was a Gary thang tho'. Man, that's wild!!! Wait till I tell my wife!

The last "Gary" I worked with...I had to go work with another crew that was short handed. I introduced myself to everyone and whatnot. Get to the last guy, w/ the cut-offs and pockets hangin out..."Lemme guess...your name is Gary???"...... How did you know that? ..."It's the shorts, man...the shorts!"

Hmmmm...that gives me an business idea, "Cut-Offs by Gary". Man, I'm an expert at cutting them down to size. Maybe starting a sweatshop soon. Stand by for updates! I do believe my ship is finally coming in.

I had two of those. Gave one to my son and we are using the other as an "island" in the kitchenette in the basement. Had a stainless steel top maid for it. It is surdy, and quite large. Nice piece for the price.
