Thanks Duke! Yeah, she's a tough lil' bugger to take a lick like that one. I expected to find the wing in pieces, or at least detached. So yes, I also think it's quite fixable too. Hell, perhaps it will look better after the redo, a "second-chance" as it were, to give things right.Duke Maddog wrote:Tex, I feel your pain as I've had numerous incidences like this. I am stunned at seeing just how much of this little plane survived. Way to go on building her so well all those years ago. You are a tremendous model builder if that plane survived that so well. Get yourself healthy again and when you are feeling better; things might not look so bad. From here, that looks eminently fixable.
Blacksheep, I have Budweiser Beer Wagon with Clydesdales in the stash. I do need to bring that out and start it someday soon. Thanks for reminding me I have it.
I do feel a whole lot better than I did. Man, that was a rough bout with that crud. It had been a long time since I had the flu, and well, I wasn't 63 years old last time around. Ya think that might make some difference?
Thanks to everyone who has replied thus far; your encouragement really does help!
