Of all the crap I produced in my youth (as can be expected from a kid!), my biggest regret was the craptastic job I did on Testors 1/48 C-130. I'd love to redeem myself on that one. Not likely to ever happen....cuz it's huge and I can fit about 229 1/72 builds in the same footprint!

Boy, howdy, would it. Epic. Just build an addition as a hanger. At least you finished it. A number of years ago, I simply threw one away during a move. . . Did find another, though.

Geez, what a beast.
Anne would probably completely melt down if I bought model kits the size of a Bass Guitar case.
Still, it would be cool to look at someone else's collection with one of those finished up.

Well, there is always the ceiling! No need to take up any footprint when it's hanging above your head.
That's where I have all my largest aircraft; I have no room otherwise. At least you don't have earthquakes which might cause them to pull out of the ceiling, break the strings or smack into each other breaking parts as they swing around from the shaking.

Nice score Lyle! I'm looking forward to seeing you start that. I have about five 1/72 scale versions of that bird hanging on my ceiling; not including the gunship versions so I really want to see that one done.

I'm sure all the models I did as a teenager were craptastic. Wish I had pics of them.

Not only do I have pics of most of them, but I still have them! And yeah, many of them are quite craptastic
