I got both of those Me 163 books, Borg. And some others. I tend to buy them when they are released, if possible. I only wasn´t too impressed by the last ones, as the Ju 88 and stuff.

@ Stik: I once did the B-1 in 1/48 and sold it later on a model show. Got another kit and some after market, to be build "some day". Size matters!

Yes, size matters when display space is an issue...

Back then we had a wardrobe about 3 metres wide, divided at 1 metres wide partitions with a sliding door each. Gladly I had one section empty, so I could store the built B-1 there. But only with the wings spread in...

Pffttt ... My missus takes up 2/3 of the bedroom closet and 90 % of both dresser drawers. I'm lucky to even have 3 drawers for my own clothes. Women... they have too much clothes (and shoes) and I never could figure out why they say they have
nothing to wear

Now that I think of it, I wouldn't mind having another stab at a "BJ and the Bear" Kenworth kit and get a matching trailer to go with it.

One I still keep searching ebay for. The Pacific Coast Models 1/32 Macchi 200.

I didn't really miss it as such as you can still buy them (£40-00+ on ebay), but I never got around to buying an Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen.

This is only strage because, along with the Airfix 1/24 Mosquito, seeing the pictures of the Sea Vixen was what got me interested in modelling again.

I really should build one.

The old Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car. I so wanted one and still do. I would so love to have one of those, but that ain't gonna happen as long as they are all priced so extravagantly when they are even offered.

Aside from that, the old 1/600 scale USS Ranger aircraft carrier. If I had that, I would have had the entire Forestall-class carrier collection in 1/600 scale.

That's all I can think of for now.

I've been looking for the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang kit for years. Expensive, yes. Do I want it that bad? Yeah but not for what they're asking for. Heck, even the Corgi die cast ones are pricey.

Hence my difficulty in getting one. Sad th9ing in most people's minds: I'd actually build it.

I pretty well do want it that bad; but I've never had the funds to even consider it.
