Did the year go so quickly ? I remember still so well most of the WIP's, just like it was yesterday, even if it actually was "yesteryear"..

The Tiffy looks so sweet, I like the tone of the colours chosen. How could you win a price for the Su-76 without the now modern light and shadow colouring, without using dozens of washes and the stuff? Just kidding, the Su-76 looks like a winner! A good proof that one can do a kit without following every new marketing path.

Testor´s Okha! I remeber having build the combo kit together with the V1 back then. Was fun to "fly" them around and have them dive to earth (bed)!

Yes, I do miss the days of playing with my models... I barely have enough time to build them now. Perhaps when I retire. The Tiffy colors are the Model Master Enamels. I do like their take on RAF colors. And yes, with the SU-76 I stuck to basic techniques- washes, dry brushing, simple weathering. I let actual lighting do the rest.

Thank you Mark. And I can not thank you enough for getting me involved with IPMS. Your recruitment of me to that mad mob has been the main route of my modeling improvement.

That was a very fast year, wasn't it? I hope that this year slows down a bit, but somehow I do not think so...

Thank you all my friends for the very kind words on my little obsession here. There is nothing better in this hobby than getting the nod of approval from your fellow modelers.

Good grief.............Eight??? I spent 10 months to get one done!!!! And then you add the fact that these are all done so well. I simply don't know how you do it. I spend at least one hour at the bench every day and still don't build to this productivity level. I guess its a good thing though because I don't have much storage space.

Thanks Mustang. I am wanting to get up to one completion a month to average 12 a year, but that seems a bit unlikely this year as well with what is ahead that I know of. Of course when I see the level of additions and detail that you added to your Ford Pick Up that you just finished, I can see why your completion rate is what it is. Hell, I bet you could read the VIN on that thing...
