I most certainly was! I bought some stuff, spoke to some people and saw a lot of models!

Some pics of the show:

The "small" event hall:

The Grand hall:

The competition being judged, no public allowed!

Some of the show tables

And a very impressive piece, HMS Hermes in 1/72!

I have not taken pictures of specific models. Guys with better cameras did that for the IPMS page so you can find them there.

The diorama with the Lancasters and Typhoons, is it by one individual? How long was the aircraft carrier in 1/72 scale? That is an impressive show piece. Have you had a chance to find out who did it and how long it took him to build it?

How did you get pics to the judging area when the public isn't allowed to view/attend?

All in all, it does look like a great show to go to. So what'd you buy at the show? :yipee:

That carrier Hermes rocks all right! I'd be thrilled to get one in 1/700 scale too!

Show looked fantastic Congrats on going.

The Lancaster dio was by an individual.

The carrier was four meters! With Seaking with spinning rotors and sound. I do not know how long it toke.

I sneaked as close as I could to the competition area to take that pick. And then was told to go away. :chair:

Dutch people dislike rules and authority, it's in our culture.

That is why every Dutch parent tells their kid not talk back to cops in other countries. But overhere it is natural.
