what usually works for me with gloss white is to use a light coat of flat white as a basecoat.
it seems to cover better . then I use the gloss , it takes less paint to achieve the desired finish .

The whole idea that the best kits out there are...wait for it...???...Tamiya! Especially funny when someone is asking about the best kit of a certain subject and someone immediately chimes in with "Tamiya", and turns out Tamiya doesn't even kit that particular subject. :headslap: Tamiya does have its share of dog kits, no different from any other manufacturer.

Tires = black
Leaves = green
Bricks = red
Wood = brown
etc, etc, etc...
