Repops Can be a mixed bag. I have the Revell Jaguar GR.1 that they just released. Found out that it's partly an Airfix kit (which would explain the trenches for panel lines). It's not looking like that great of a kit.

Got 4 in the stash...

Biggest plus for me? Stops some of the insanity on ebay.

Sometime in October I think...I'll be buying up that kit for sure.

If you are talking about the 1/48 kit, that was actually a joint venture with Heller. Heller did the French version with the pointier nose and included French stores, while Airfix did the RAF type with the "chisel" nose and British ordnance. It is actually not a bad kit, and quite superior to the ESCI kit of roughly the same vintage. Of course I am sure that the more recent Kitty Hawk kit is far more stat of the art...

I am surprised nobody has really mentioned any Hasegawa kits. They are constantly re popping their older kits in new boxes with a new set of decals and calling them "new releases".

Mine has a warped fuselage and wing. If I can fix those I'm sure it'll be a better build.

It's actually not terrible. The panel lines are overdone, and if you have any love for detail the wheel wells and gear will leave you crying into your pillow. It's actually a pretty easy build, but does need some filler in places. I wouldn't build it a second time though.
The Kitty Hawk kit isn't too great from what I hear either. The fit on it is fairly horrible according to those who have built or tired to build it.

I like...
