Worked on a little section at a time getting it down to bare plastic. I say it came out better than I thought. I will go over it with a little...

Re: Academy 1/144 scale B-2 Stealth Bomber
Yeah, I was going to stop at my LHS in Clinton first to see if they have it in their Tamiya lacquer line. If not, I'll order MRP Have Glass Grey.

Re: Academy 1/144 scale B-2 Stealth Bomber
I found the have glass grey I have been looking for. Hobbylinc has True Colors Paint F-16 Have Glass Grey. Definitely matches the color that Medic posted on the F-16 and various photos of B-2 Stealth Bombers in that color. Time to break out the wallet…

Re: Academy 1/144 scale B-2 Stealth Bomber
Ok... I took a look over in scalehobbyist and saw they have Tamiya lacquer Have Glass Grey V. I'm assuming that's a series 5 Have Glass Grey. Noted it was used on F-35s. I'll check to see if my HobbyTown has it. Oh wait, they renamed it Turn 4 Toys & Hobbies. Apparently, the owner told me they l...

Re: Academy 1/144 scale B-2 Stealth Bomber
Ive been thinking on how to make this look real. My thought is spray a base coat of Tamiya XF-22 RLM Grey or Tamiya XF-24 Dark Grey FS36118 ; aka: Gunship Grey.
Here's my theory on why... once both colors are on, it would look "black" visually when it's not. Thoughts?

Re: Academy 1/144 scale B-2 Stealth Bomber
Well.... this is interesting. I started spraying Mission Models Have Glass Grey on the doors. Not what I was expecting. See for yourself... https://i.postimg.cc/yYhC7L6x/20260602-202446.avif It's actually a metallic grey sheen when wet. I'll have to see what it really looks like when completely drie...
